mikeyb10supra
For all those using sky....did you fill in and declare all your mods and send the form back to them?? did you recieve this back signed for your records? So far I have not had mine back and in the case of an accident they could deny any knowledge of these mods I have decalred as I have no record and not pay out a penny?? Any one else found this? mikeyb10supra
Yes I filled it in and sent it off, can't remember if I got a signed copy back or not though. I would double check....I didnt get one back and was thinking the other day....verbally they can agree with you that these mods are covered, but in the case of a big payout, the possibility of denying any of these mods were ever quoted could be quite high and us with no signed modification form have no leg to stand on

charlton
if they take your £30 for your agreed value and they have taken it, surely that would class as acceptance and wouldn't make a difference to any claim as they would pay the agreed value anyway? Unless they try to say that you modified your car without notifying them and will refuse to payout, but that could be the same with any insurer? Safely Insured
you should have your modification form returned, stamped with a letter confiming that all disclosed mods are covered on a like for like basis. This is enclosed with your policy documentation and valuation letter.

absz
I filled mine in and sent if off. Im not to happy my abflug supra has agreed value of 10k though i spoke to them few weeks back as my insurance is up this month. they were willing to give me a agreed value for £20k as long as i have a tracker fitted to the car. i,m sure yours is worth much more than 10k
