Cable
Just wondering at what boost does the fuel cut kick in at? And if you run 1.2 bar would it be wise to get some sort of A/F controller?
Nic
Just wondering at what boost does the fuel cut kick in at? And if you run 1.2 bar would it be wise to get some sort of A/F controller? Standard fuel cut is 1bar, anything over this and you'll need a fuel cut defencer (FCD). The generally accepted limit on stock turbos is 1.1-1.2bar. The Supra runs a little rich as standard, so can cope with 1.1-1.2bar on stock fuel setup, although it would be advisable to fit a new fuel pump and fuel filter to ensure adequate fueling. Being able to control the fueling and timing can make a significant difference to performance. For basic fuel set up you could use the Apexi SAFC. If you want to maximise performance though on stock turbos, I'd recommend the Emanage Ultimate (piggy back ECU), which allows fueling and timing to be mapped. I'm organising a group buy for the Emanage Ultimate at the moment if interested, see details here: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=78232
Cable
Probably gonna go the way of a power FC as I've had one of these before and liked it. This maybe a while off yet as I'll wanna sort the handling before I go big power. Until then maybe an apexi AFC...

You'll need to get a specific one to fit the Supra (AP Engineering version), these are a lot more expensive.
