Paul Laing
Cheers mate. Are you going for any kit? Your car looks great at the moment I especially like the windows, really suit your car, and the wheels of course Paul

Alex
Try Dunlop SP9000's at 18psi in 285/30/19. But IMO your wheels are too big for drag racing. Pirrelli's take too long to warm up - they are a track tyre not a drag one. If you want the real deal look at Nitto or BFG Drag Radials...they have tread so you can drive them to and from the track. Paul Laing
He's not drag racing on his 19s though, he's using his stock 17s for that
ChrisB
Yeah i use the stock 17's for that, and didnt realise you could drive on the road with drag tyres on? where can i get them from how much etc??
Paul Laing
Envy can get them Chris, they only last about 2-3000 miles but i think there not that badly priced
Alex
Sorry - only scan read the other 2 pages...missed that point about using 17's. But the rest is relevant esp lowering the tyre pressure.
Scooter
there's some interesting links in this thread some are not drag radials as such, but grippy track tyres, but they must be better than stock road tyres?

Paul Laing
True, but once it's complete it'll be amazing Gaz and you'll have all summer to cruise in it. Peter had yours for 7 weeks, mine will probably be there for 8!!! Nahh he said 10 days so i thought tomorrow might be too good to be true! He said the end of the week so i reckon friday/saturday if not monday.... He didn't seem to have much on when we went to collect yours, he normally has loads of cars in!
