you know i could seriously be tempted to part with a tenner for this site  would ya mind that? even tho i'm not hugely into cars? altho i'm still waiting for someone to offer to take me out in theirs :eyebrows:

Post a thread up saying 'female would like a ride in a supra.' 30seconds later you'll have a ride. Days later the thread will still be going :D

Please feel free to join... but then in the rules you'll see hovis is a must :D

they're just a couple of pics for now lmao, top one is cadwell on the 28th of this month, bottom one was a couple of weeks ago......ooooo i got a cracking pose in my head for the hovis pic ;)

what i hate most when i'm out on the bike? it's actually when i stop and i get guys saying to me "you ride really well for a girl" i mean c'mon!!! does that mean i ride like a tosser for a bloke? right that was my rant lol, i always try to give a wave or a thumbs up to any car that has let me through, the only time i can't is when i'm busy changing gears or there's a small gap and i'm going for it, if i can't wave etc then i'll try and give them a flash of my indicators at least!

thought you women could multitask:D ;)

i agree with the earlier coment about all drivers having to ride a bike before getting a drivers license, coz to be honest riding a bike has made me a better and safer driver, makes you more aware of things around you and reaction times are quicker
True dat.

Generally folks that learnt their roadcraft on a bike are much better at judging hazards and conditions than the vast majority of car drivers.

i lost my licence and had to re take everything (cbt, theory, hazard perception and practical) i found that the hazard perception was based more at learner car drivers as i missed out on a few points for spotting hazards too early.......i'd have thought the earlier you spot them the better?

JohnA in my case the camera lies ;) i'm a proper munter really

Yeah, I'd have thought so.

What did you do to get banned? Must've been pretty serious to have had to resit your test. Or was it just 'cos you hadn't had your license long? (I think they do something like that nowadays, don't they?)

All this CBT bollocks sounds like a PITA but I suppose there's a good reason for it. I took my bike test way back when you could ride a 250LC on a provisional licence - no CBT or two part tests in the olden days.

I think it was a lot easier to pass back then mind.

I was 17 years and 10 days old when I passed. I mean, 1 year of mopeds and 10 days of bike experience - how good could you be really?

I'm waffling. I'll shut up now :)
