jase_93tt
Can anyone recommend software that allows one to import a .csv list of addresses and send them as multi-part text/html emails. Must be able to allow bespoke HTML designs, so I can design something in fireworks and export the html and images etc ready for inserting into the emailer program. Only looking at software where you pay a one off fee for the software itself, and not for the number of emails that are sent. Any info much appreciated Cheers Jase
JustGav
Any mail program such as outlook or thunderbird, should allow you to import from CSV into the address book. Then just select all..
jase_93tt
Cheers, but.... Problem with outlook is that I dont want imported email addresses from the .csv file to mix in with non-recipient addresses. I havnt played around with Outlook Express in great detail, but the options are quite limiting. Not sure if imported contact details can be imported directly into a specified group to keep them all separate ? Also, Outlook wont be able to send multi-part emails neither. Or at least, not that Im aware of. Tried searching through google, but its minefield when it comes to bulk email software....
Pete
http://www.listmessenger.com You need to host it on a PHP and MySQL enabled server. Works great. Supports groups, self remove from mail list, HTML and txt formatting, etc.

Pete
Steady on Jake, email distribution lists aren't always spam you know. I do agree though, 90% of our email traffic is spam or viruses. We're always having to tune it. PITA

Pete
I know that. I was kidding Ok ok! Some people (the one's I have to deal with) are very passionate about hating spam and would consider it quite reasonable to round up anyone that's every sent bulk email into a pen and gas them. I thought you were of that school of thinking.

b.weeks
Assuming not spam - try G-Lock Easy Mail. Imports all types of data easily and easy to use. Assume you know not to send using your ISP's SMTP server.
