RedM
Bunch of cocks the lot of them. Prime example was the fat c**t this morning. I first saw him pull from one lane of the M1 to another, indicating at the same time as moving and about a cars length infront of the car he pulled infront of. Cue lots of heavy braking and eveyone has to stop for the big man in his big lorry. F*ck me if he then didn't do the same to me. I whizzed up alongside him after some nifty driving, gave him the finger and the fat, sweaty, hairy, couldn't get a proper job if he tried and will probably die an early death from cholestrol laden greasy breakfasts, assclown just laughed. F**ker. Bet he ain't the big man outside his cab. Tossers one and all.

JustGav
Tossers one and all. Hmmm, I know a few drivers, and I wouldn't be making the sweeping statement... While there are a few bad ones, not all of them are.. and most of them are big men outside the cab as well.
colsoop
I hold a C+E licence and i have to say it is more thorough than a car test. Remember that a lorry has a lot of blind spots and only has side mirrors as a guide. Car drivers need to be a little bit more alert due to this and allow more room for lorrys etc. But there are a few arseholes who use their size to bully road users, these are in the minority. Rayman
pmsl, i get this all the time, people cutting me up, its because i dont tailgate the car in front , people think that its a gap then they pull out into it. Some lorry drivers dont give a f*** i must admit, just because they are driving slower vehicles they are obsessed with keeping their momentum going and will cut you up given half the chance. I hate bus drivers more tho!
Mike
don't we usually have a 'gang' of truckers coming out of the wood work whenever something like this rears it's head...? Rob
just because they are driving slower vehicles they are obsessed with keeping their momentum going and will cut you up given half the chance. I hate bus drivers more tho! Obsessed with keeping their fuel costs down since this Govt refuses to acknowledge that moving stuff around is in anyway linked to the prosperity of the nation. They cut you up because you haven't looked and planned far enough ahead to anticipate they might need to pull out. As I always say, unless you live in a tree and eat nuts, you need trucks to live your life. I agree about bus drivers though, most of them are definitely on the sex offenders register. garethr
They cut you up because they don't bloody care. Sorry, but I don't see how the fact that it's taken him 20 miles to reach 57.9 mph gives a lorry driver the right to just pull out into a line of traffic which is travelling a lot faster then he is. If I was driving at 35 and pulled out into a line of trucks doing 58 I'd rightly be called a silly person.... except I can't do that, can I, because I'm not driving a sodding great truck which will just roll over any bike or car which is in the way. I do anticipate what they are going to do (riding bikes teaches you that VERY quickly), but sometimes they should just accept that they'll have to slow to 55.9 mph until it's safe to pull out. Lorry drivers and coach drivers have tried to kill me too many times over the last 38 years for me to have any respect for their courtesy and consideration for other road users. They're good at reversing though...

Tossers one and all. you just made yourself sound like a complete tosser.....there are bad drivers in all areas of transport so to call all lorry drivers ( a bunch of cocks) is bloody out of order,i bet you have made a cock up once or twice in your driving life span??? but your not a COCK are you!!!!!!!! RobSheffield
The problem with them slowing down is that their 29 litre engine takes 4 months to build boost back up again, so they barely like to release pressure on the accelerator, let alone slow down
Max Headroom
Trucks amount to just 11% of all traffic, yet if we had a proper integrated transport plan and we could put just 30% of this traffic on the railways then it would solve the majority of the traffic chaos we currently have on the motorways. Nowadays you cannot use the inside lane because of the commercial traffic, so you are restricted to two lanes and as has been said on this thread if a truck overtakes on a hill, because the driver hasn't thought about it then within a short space of time you are looking at traffic snarl ups. My personal gripe is truck and tractor drivers who drive down single carriageways for miles and miles with about 40 cars behind them and don't pull in to a layby to release the traffic, complete nobbers with no road sense. Coming from you any insult don't mean shit. FWIW though, I do sometimes drive like a cock, sometimes like a twat, often like a total c*nt, occasionally like an ass, not very often like a numpty but I do it when the time is right not at half past fucking seven on a packed and crawling along at thirty (just) M1. In fact, irritating newcomer, in the morning I saty in the same lane for the entirety of my time on the M1. There no point weaving across lanes, cutting people up and being a cock when I don't need to. Unlike the guy this morning. For him to actually laugh means he was aware of what he did and he didn't care. Cock!
RedM
They cut you up because you haven't looked and planned far enough ahead to anticipate they might need to pull out. I assume that everyone is going to cut me up and drive accordingly. Infact I'm the guy who has people ducking in infront of him becuase I leave sensible sized gaps between me and other cars. They are a buffer not a fucking invitation to cut me up. Lorry driving cock this morning obviously couldn't wait to reach the point up ahead which was at a complete standstill so he took the opportunity to swerve into the lane I was in. I know why *cough* most of them do it. It's because they don;t own their vehicles and so don't give a shit. Same with reps and van drivers.
