MONKEYmark
any updates? do you have any cloes up pics of oil pipes to turbo. been having a good look at mine on turbo there is your main oil feed to turbo with a big braided connector with 2 light alloy threaded brackets that screw to turbo. one you cant miss where it goes on turbo. dont know where the fatter connector goes. also there is a small braided hose looks like it goes to front of turbo. it has a couple of male to male connectors that screw into the small braided hose. they can only screw in one way and the other side looks like it goes to turbo front. just unsure. going to lend sisters 6 mega pixel cam and photo everything showing in detail where it goes to and put on net when i get sorted. looks smart when you bolt it up. waste gate looks like it can only go one way with spacers and gaskets. just trying to work out where all screws go. off to boost logic site to read the install instructions. get some more pics up when you get a chance
dude
Mark the big braided line is the oil drain from under the turbo , the small one will be the feed to the top !!! Dude:flame Dev

Supraguy
Originally posted by dude I need that wastegate sound like yours dude , hopefully running next week if the cams get here Dude:flame Dev Thing is, I think it depends how much boost youre running. Mine sounds deafening because I am only running 1.3 bar. If I were running higher boost more would be going through the turbo than the wastegate so it would be a bit less in your face. Knowing you, it would be Race Fuel + 2.0 bar daily driver!! Hope its on the road soon mate!
Matt Harwood
Bless him. He looked all lost yesterday without his car there... It was like a peice of him was missing! We have the power to rebuild it. Better, faster and stronger than ever before... Better call it Steve Austin or Jamie Summers! * * The above line bears no resemblance to my age! You're right Matt - did you see that 'little boy lost' look? Aaaa.... Just sort of hanging around anything with a big single...a gentle sigh...a wistful look...? MONKEYmark
glad to see more pics and progress. i been to work to do some overtime but got bored and come home 1 hour later. been taking some high quality pics of turbo kit and all pipes and nuts and bolts for future reference. take your time with it john you will enjoy it more. has it been pretty straight forward. any close up pics of where oil pipes go to block. also on front of turbo there is a small thread, just found out its a boost pressure thing to connect up to wastegate and boost controller. have you got anyone helping you? would be good to see it coming together.
