Wez
Hey Dude, Are you running two lines down to the front of the car, one from each pump?
dude
Originally posted by Wez Hey Dude, Are you running two lines down to the front of the car, one from each pump? Yes silly !!!! Heres the 2 that go to the fuel rail from the filters
Wez
OK cool Just wonder why people don`t take both pumps into a single high pressure line with Y piece and then again at the other end as surely this would offer better pressure equalisation across the rail, i could of course be talking complete cod shite. EDIT: just edited to add you would also only require one fuel filter as well. Is the regulator plumbed into the fuel return line centre feed on the rail? dude
IMO to run a single line with the same internal area as the 2 i have would be a PITA , i like this way but would rather run just 1 pump because as terry pointed out if one of the walboros failled how would i know and the car would still run fine till it hit high boost , cant wait to get it running now , im getting sad i go up and stare at my BL header and DP they are so beautifull ( must stop sniffing that toluene !!! ) Dude:flame Dev
osso
Think it will all be finished when i pop over next friday dude? its all looking good!!!
Wez
ROFL If you decide to go AEM you could set it up so that it detects the pressure drop in the fuel line from either pump and then introduces a lower target boost level.

nick_karkie
I truly applaud Dude for telling us all his specs, and Terry too (at last!). yeah he wouldnt tell me either til he was sure I wanted to buy it, tight git. Terry, keep me informed on how u r getting on with the black car. And to Dude, go for it, hope everything works out well for you and you can kill the skylines, and if you evr come round my area you can have free skate and chips (I know u like your skate)
Guest Terry S
How you doing Nick! Trust everything is OK. The reason for the secrecy was that there are clueless tuners out there that would just copy stuff that I was doing with Leon. I will gladly help any individual, but will not line the tuners pockets. Things seem to have moved on since then thankfully
nick_karkie
Nah Terry I'm just messing, I understand your point entirely having been burnt by such a tuner, and without persistence I would have been in a far worse situation. I'm fine thanks Terry, car running well, needed oil exactly when you said it would after 500-600 miles, and good thing is im only doing 120 miles a week so I wont be wrecking her. Got your mobile yet, coz I wanna know how good 3G is before I buy one to reduce my monthl bill.
