wkdtime
Would a intercooler be a supporting mod ? Nope not an upgrade I/C as that wont be needed at this stage, but if your's is old and the fins are broken then a replacement is reccomended... michael
Would a intercooler be a supporting mod ? Only if you want to earn a '+' to put after your 'BPU' - it's all a bit gay if you ask me.
jase_93tt
Only if you want to earn a '+' to put after your 'BPU' - it's all a bit gay if you ask me. Imagine going to a car meet and speaking to say, for example, a Lotus Exige owner, and saying "my supras bpu++ ya know" or whatever. Sounds a load of bollocks. Just quote horsepower and torque figures, would cut down on the whole confusion of this BPU crap
SUPRALOOPY
OK i have. full decat/airfilter/fcd/tsd/bc/walbro pump/zaust/rr/tt/Ik22 plugs/safc2/rltc. Whats that then cos i call that BPU?
rovervi
I consider a fully decatted Supe running atleast 1.2 bar a true BPU, some say 1.1bar and some say 1.4bar, generally its when your fully decatted with supporting mods and the boost truned up. Fly wheel power assuming your running 1.2bar can be any where from 380-420BHP assuming you have a healthy engine. So BPU is only a term that can be associated to TT's?
