Matti85
Would you belive me if i said i did all this to my car, just to fit a boost gauge =) The hole that everyone use to get the boost vacum to the engine bay is this one. It was so feecking tight in there, and i could not figure out where it comes out in the engine bay area, so found a new hole insted, much more easier to get through, at least if you dont have the interior in your way =) And it comes out right in front of y, at the other side. Bob
Why?! While you're there, you may want to check / clean out your heater matrix Preventative maintenance kinda thing
Pete
You got waaaaay too carried away. It's a 10 min job to plumb the vacuum line. I think you're telling porkies, especially as you can get to that grommet just by hanging upside down in the driver seat. Might as well change your heater matrix whilst it's like that then. Sheefa
Heater matrix is as it states mate. It involves the heating system I believe and it's a right headfuk to change if it goes. The job costs around the £1,000 mark I think if a mechanic has to change it as the dash needs to be completely stripped out like that first pic mate. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I'd do it now whilst you can!
