chilli
well at least it's not just me then auto-updates - a great thing but I wish they would test the release properly before hand, after all this leak is so bad you could hardly miss it! hopefully a new version will be out shortly to patch the bug the've introduced
RedM
They had issues with the last release too. Embedded media wouldn't play IIRC.
how_supra
ah I thought it was just my laptop playing up. Yes similar problems here too.
Ark
Working fine for me. Double-check any plug-ins you've got running.
Thorin
It's usually a plugin issue... I'm using the nightly builds of 2.0 now though
Thorin
And try entering about:config into the address bar and set "browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers" to -1.
Supragal
I can't believe this many people use it... are you all mac users?
DamanC
No problems reported here Suragal - we are all just in the know
Jake
No memory leaks here either. It's currently using about 60meg of memory and 50meg Virtual mem. I do have an issue with the occaisional embedded video on some sites like putfile and youtube but the same pages crash IE on this PC too. smithaldo
Can't say I've ever had a problem with any firefox release's to be honest.
Thorin
Firefox 2.0RC1 out now. http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bonecho/all-rc.html And the adblock extension has now been updated to work with it so I'm now using it exclusively
chilli
I've found that it does definitely have a leak, a bad one - but only on some pages. An example is that it leaks like a goodun if you leave it on a signed in MSN email page. Don't think it is a plugin issue. And you don't have to be a mac user to use firefox lol, been using it since it came out and I really like tab browsing and tab browser extensions...
