Some even come with cruise; a PS2 module; 12-disc autochanger and fluffy dice from what I hear from the army guys. Oh yes! Electric windows only came as a factory upgrade from 2004 so you probably won't get them on your one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alex
I watched a program with one of these tank places once...he said they like women drivers most, because they listened to instructions and did as they were told...they didn't presume to know, which unsurprisingly blokes think they do. cashpoint
Looking forward to it. Sold my Evo so though i'd do something fun while watching the news and they had a report on Afghanistain (spelling) with a couple of Warrior things rushing along so thought about tanks. Booked it within 8 mins .... i love the internet. Get to play with a 56 Tonne Chieftain tank
supra steveo
Chieftain, oh right the real mans tank or so its called you have to tension the tracks by hand where as chally 2 is hydrolic
Rob
I watched a good Discovery prog about tanks last week. Blimey, it's a rough way to die, when those DU missiles come right through the armour or the big squashhead ones just fragment everything inside without actually breaching the armour. supra steveo
the fin or DU round is so fast it creates a vacuum in the target tank and sucks the crew out of a hole of about 2 inches big the HESH (high explosive squash head) make a scab on the under side of the armour and that wings its way around the turret cutting everything to shreds with the russian tanks they stack the ammo around the turret ring and if its hit with a round in the right place the turret will be blown clean off, cool hey , not for the crew though

I can see the attraction though as my Father was 4RTR - a product of 7 and 8 I believe!
ivan
Off on a Tank driving day on Sunday can't wait. Anyone driven a tank? do they have power steering and electric windows. Yep. I never got to drive the new toy tanks - Chieftain was my baby. Power steering? Sort of - the higher you rev, the easier it steers. And no, parking was never a problem:

Daston
My old man spent many of his younger years either in a Chieftain or fixing them.
