michael
I thought it was just a case of the chap in charge not wanting to do it if the current presenters weren't present? The programme's executive producer, Andy Wilman, said in The Observer he would quit if the BBC toned down the show's emphasis on speed. He added that the new series should not be screened unless Hammond could rejoin the show with fellow presenters Jeremy Clarkson and James May. He said: "The only Top Gear I'm interested in making is the one with those three in it, and it has to be those three. I wouldn't do it, couldn't do it [without Richard]." I don't think there is any need for panic just yet people. Alex
Good Grief!! It's DELAYED ONLY They don't want to do the live bits in the Studio without the Hampster cause it wouldn't be right, by all accounts with his recovery going so well it won't be delayed that long. miko_supra
do agree, they wont axe it thats for sure. I've often wondered though, why dont they ever show the older top gears on sky? only ever see the 2/3 year old ones and i've seen them all a million times. interesting to see all the old car reviews.
