_Rob_
We replaced a head gasket on a P plate 1.1 metro. all back together nice and bony. how ever come to staring it and it wont start. itll turn over fine, if we take the sparkies out they spark, its fueling, getting air, it just wont start! we seem to think its overfueling, i dont know why though. the sparkies are wet with fuel when we take them out after turning it over. anyone got any thoughts?? absz
if its getting fuel and its sparking then i'll check the spark leads first for correct firing order next re-check the cambelt timing to make sure its not 180 degrees out ie re-align timing marks then remove no1 plug and make sure that the piston is at top dead centre.
