Supra ST Myster
Just a couple of sneaky pics of some led rear lights im working on, thoughts on them please. only two shots at the moment and they look a lot better in the flesh but hard to take a pic of bright lights at night. Will post some more pics of one fitted to my car possibly tomorrow.
Supra ST Myster
and with brakes on, which are brighter than the tails. they will have a relay in them to switch the inner 2 brake lights to fogs when needed.
Jake
Difficult to say from those pics mate. I'm sure they look great IRL though.

Terminator
Very distinctive. Great idea. How bright are they compared to stock rears?
michael
Looking good sir
Supra ST Myster
I will take a few pics tonight of the difference between the two rear lights on my supra, hopefully they will come out clearly to see the difference. They just plug into the origanal loom.
jason m
These look like they could be just the update the sup rear needs. Like to see more pics - any idea of price ? can you 'do it' to face lift rears ?
lust2luv
Look cool. Hope they're not too bright though. Following a new BMW in queuing traffic is a PITA as some of their brake lights are as bright as fogs. Likely to piss people off.
Terminator
MKIV rears are pretty bright anyway JMHO
Digsy
I reckon it'll look great when finished. If it turns out to be too bright then LEDs come in lots of different flavours for brightness and at the end of the day it doesnt take much to add a few resistors to make them as dim as you want. What kind of half angle to they have, though? The bright ones tend to be very narrow and it may be a concern the indicators. Just to play devil's advocate, don't indicators and foglamps still have to be filament bulbs??? Looks great though!
Lewis
i'll have set emin, I was thinking, why dont you come up on the saturday and stay over, that way we can work indoors as well and should mean it wont take as long. It's up to you obviously, I'm just thinking we may be limited for time as I have server stuff to go through, rear centre light, dials (el panels) etc Give me a ring tonight
Lewis
Unless you come up this weekend, then friday is an option as well if fri/sat is easier. sorry to jack the thread - i'll go back to sleep now

dangerous brain
I am assuming here that those pics are of the two sides of the car cut and pasted together or have you converted all four lights on each side???
Supra ST Myster
no i have done all 4 on each side, which consists of 4 outer circles for the tails, then a inner circle for the brakes and then on the right the 2 inners are indicators and the far left inner is the reverse. Aerotop Dave
Shot from further away would be good - so we can see the whole back of the car as if you were following it a couple of car lengths behind. Probably not a mod for me, but I always like to see new things being done. And more photos may yet convince me!
