ChrisR
I have aquired some leather seats from a Generation 7 Celica (New shape) which i would like to if at all possible have fitted to my Generation 6 Celica GT-Four. The bolt pattern for the seats are different although not much. Has anyone on here had any experience good or bad fitting aftermarket seats or at least ones with different bolt patterns. The seat runners on the old set and new are part of the seat so it wont be just a case of swapping them over. The runners themselves on each end have brackets riveted on which look to me like they coud be removed with a bit of effort. I know of a company who sell seat frames with the correct bolt pattern to my Celica and wondered if it were feasible to remove the brackets from the seat runners and have the runners welded\fixed to the aftermarket seat frames. Does this sound feasible of can anyone offer a different or better solution. Regards Chris
