leonv
Hi, Leon asked me to order him a front mounted intercooler, but then i came across these. What would be the difference between say this and a Greddy? Or is it all in a name? Your input would be appreciated. http://search.ebay.co.uk/intercooler_W0QQfromZR41QQfrtsZ200QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ11QQsbrsrtZd
michael
You've linked to a big list of intercoolers on eBay, do you want to chat about one in particular? If you do a search on here for "ebay intercooler" you should find a load of useful threads, this one might get you started... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=81861&

michael
Interesting, I haven't seen the "unique Tube & Fins core" one before - I'll leave at this point in the hope that someone useful comes along to help
Kranz
It looks the same as any other ebay cheap 'massive, FMIC. Same as the one I have. Now cost £150 or so for the bare intercooler. It works, but the design is nowhere near as efficient as the Greddy etc.
jase_93tt
You get what you pay for, when tuning cars, cheap parts should never be an option if you want to do the job properly
leonv
You get what you pay for, when tuning cars, cheap parts should never be an option if you want to do the job properly I understand that, but sometimes us punters also end up paying thousands before we find out that it is the same product(just branded) or we will get no major result difference between certain expensive and cheaper performance poducts. SupraAyf
Hi Leon If interested, there's a group buy being organised at the moment for the new GReddy Type M front mounted intercooler for £345 delivered, see details here: cheers Nic: That's a damn good price m8 and it costs less than my Hybrid 'original' IC that I fitted a few months ago! LeonV: You have to be careful with Hybrid IC's on eBay - most are copies and are crap! The original ones seem OK though!
