adman
Had my car a few months now and thinking about tweaking the engine abit.. the car came with a power boost valve and i'm wondering what extra bhp they give (if any) and what will happen as a result of me tweaking it? SimonB
Well the quick answer is none, and you will mess your fueling up causing you to lose (even more) power and possibly cause damage. The only place for these is if you need to increase fuel pressure to compensate for having too small injectors, and to do so you need some form of fuel controller. In which case you should just buy a proper adjustable fuel pressure reg like an aeromotive.

Ian C
The best performance mod I know of with these valves is to replace it with a stock fuel pressure regulator These things have a high failure rate as well, mostly involving spraying fuel around the engine bay. If you search for "FSE valve" you can read up on the previous discussions -Ian
