Testing 2nd turbo

Recommended Posts

I have a 1994 Supra GZ and it is all running great. I've not driven a TT before so I have nothing to compare with. The 1st turbo kicks in nice and low and then the power continues more or less consistently up through the curve. Should there be a noticable kick or something when 2nd turbo kicks in or should it be seamless?

Is there a simple test to make sure all is well?

Thanks

hi mate there should be a serious kick when turbo 2 comes in,its like all hell braking loose:d

have a look in the FAQ section and there should be some excellent info on how to fault find probs with the sequential system.

once turbo 2 is working you will have a big grin on your face bud!:)

I thought it was all linear unless you had gone BPU at which point (as Rich so eloquently put it) All hell breaks loose.

Unless you have Exhaust mods, a Cat out and increased fuelling AFAIK it sounds to be as expected.

I agree with this. I have driven a stock UK and Stock J spec recently. The power feels linear.
