mr keef
looks great mate how long diod it take you? Cheers mate:) well it took me 2 weeks, but the first week i was doing a few hours here and there, the second week i put quite a bit time into it,but i took the doors and tailgate off to do the door checks etc and inside the doors, then i put them back on to paint the car as a whole. LeeT
did you do this in a booth, garage or what?
mr keef
I was going to go for the RSP,but when i started to look at different pics of cars, some looked very light and some dark,so in the end i went for the Nissan pearl blue that they use on the 350Z.I bought the gold pearl from ebay and when i painted the insides of the doors,i tried about a 2 teaspoons in a ltr of laquer and the effect was like a blue with gold flip, and it seemed to really lighten the blue right up,so when i painted the outside of the car,i only put a teaspoon of gold in and the blue stays a nice deep blue, and the gold you can just see in the metallic like a glitter, when the sun shines, all in all im pleased with the outcome.
