I didn't own my own car until 1998 :D grand ole age of 23.. and then it was only a fiesta... so :p ;)

I had lots of friends with access to big fast mean cars, I just couldn't afford to put the petrol in them let alone tax and insure :)...

Now I have the Supe... and I sitll can't afford to fuel, tax and insure the beast ;)... but she's my reason for smiling every morning when I turn the key.. so what are ya gonna do eh?

My brothers friend had a rather wealthy dad and got himself a twin charged (I think that is the term when you have a supercharger with air bleed and a big single turbo) Renault 19 (I think it was a 19) when he was 18 putting out some sick power. Although I don't believe he ever had a chance to write it off as the police pulled him over every 1/2 mile ;):D

As long as the guy doesn;t write the car, himself or anyone else off, more power to him :) (* bastard ;) *).
