Exaust/police

Hi all

 

Im considering getting a uprated exaust like a nur spec or HKS, but im worried about attention from the law. I want a loud one but was just wondering if any you guys (or girls) had been bother by the law for this.

I have the RSR with 2nd decat and on an NA its loud, but I havve passed many a police officer with no problems

if you blast around everywhere, passing policemen at WOT then of course they're going to take notice but that'll more than likely be cos you're driving like an idiot and the noise has alerted them to that.

 

generally they're not too fussed, i just keep an eye out and try my best not to floor it while i'm anywhere near them

Hi I had a Greddy Full stainless with double Decat Pipe fitted by Chris Wilson to my supra TT in June and am still really pleased with how quiet it can be when you drive normally, just a low burble, but when you open it up, it is awesome.

Like supra-man says blast round in front of a copper and he will pull you.

My mates just been threatened with an asbo for his exhaust on his 200sx but it is very loud. Thing is he hasnt had the car on the road for months then the first day he sorts the probs out and gets it started he gets this.Not good.

I have a boost logic 4" and have been fined by the police for failure to maintain an exhaust system. I could have made the test it for sound etc but i didnt want the local plod "out to get me" so i accepted it. Did drive pass them as queitly as i could.

My mate said prove it when they turned up at his and they pulled something out and shoved it up his rear pipe;)

Got an RSR with cats in and was done for speeding and was told that the car was way too loud, luckly they had no sound equipment on them to prove it.
