flukey-lukey
Gavstar its hard not to fall in love with the first one you see, but like other people have said take your time and make sure you get a decent one. I've kept a close eye on the cars CJ has been buying and selling lately (although he doesn't know it! lol) and they have all been 'spunkers' at excellent prices

Jake
I hate the way some people try to big up their cars on eBay. There's so much bullshit in that eBay listing I dunno where to start. Limited Edition? No such thing. Those wheels aren't Toyota ones, they never came with the car - they're aftermarket ones. Leather dash? Rubbish, it's vinyl. I bet the rear seats are too. sought after air conditioning? It's standard equipment on every mkiv Supra ever made. Only 540 GZ's made? Only 540 made the same month as his maybe. Scooter
Gavstar its hard not to fall in love with the first one you see, but like other people have said take your time and make sure you get a decent one. thing is he hasn't seen it none of us have, have we? so again i'd say that no one can really know what its like. The owner being a tit or full of misinformation or plain bullshit is not really an indicator of the cars condition or vfm at £5K. Loads of car owners in general know sweet fa about models differences or mods etc etc they just like the look of a car and drive it. Did he service it well or if he hasn't had it long, did the guy before? is more important than if he knows wtf he's talking about........... flukey-lukey
my previous comment doesn't seem to fit to well with this guy as he does seem to just be plainly making stuff up rather than being ignorant............. I do agree with your previous comment, maybe he should at least have a look at it and work out if its worth the money or not... but yeh he's also making stuff up to make it sound better than it is, which is slightly worrying as a car as 'good' as this should sell itself IMO
jaiscossie
cant see how the leather interior on a car which has covered 147000kms can be in brand new condition, excellent condition maybe but not brand new. also hate the way ppl use the word mint when it probably has scratches and minor car park dinks. if you want to see mint take a look underneath my dads concourse escort cosworth which has won rsoc national day twice and has never seen rain! thats what you call mint not a supra with no reserve for 5k ,who in there right mind would sell a mint tt supra for 5k anyway. phew feel better now thats off my chest
