dangerous brain
I'd guess to start with you'd have to find out if the folding motors are there to actually motor them shut.
Scooby
They definetly work, when my car was a N/A facelift with all the switches in place it was fine, but when I converted it to a TT 6speed I used the UK wireing loom from my dammaged car. Therefore there are no switches or wires in place. Do you know if when the mirrors have finnished moving the motors will automaticly switch off, or was that controlled somwhere in the old loom? dangerous brain
No idea mate but I'd guess its stop switched at the mirror end on either a position sensor or more likely along the same sort of lines as the windows that detect a certain amount of resistance and shut off. PS the plugs on the heated mirror is much smaller than the one on the folding mirror. The UK mirrors are heated right???
