c0c4in3
Hi there, Just removed the Toyota badge on the trunk. There is a gluefilm on the paint. I tried to remove it mechanically but no chance. Any idea what shall I use to remove it? I think that petrol or acetone is not the best for the paint, right? thanks... Bob
I scraped most of mine off with a bit of soft plastic - the spreaders you get for fibreglass are ideal. Then get any remainders off with a rag and some white spirits. A quick once over with some scratch remover / G3 / T-Cut, then reapply your usual wax. Hey presto, clean as you like. turnerjr
use a fudge wheel mate (sometimes called a caramel wheel). goes in the end of a drill and will take about 5 seconds to get the glue off and will not damage the paint work, i use them at work all the time. Can get them from any half decent auto paint place for a few pound.
