today was my first run on the road in my supra! all was good but after a bit of a hammering i had some boost problems, when the 2nd turbo come in it strains (sounds like a missfire, but sure its not) but when i drive from a standind start i can hear what sounds like the dump valve operating? i have a hks filter on it as well so lots of wooshing noise, could the dumpvalve be playing up loosing my boost? whats a good way to bypass it?

i also had a overheating problem, it got just under the red this was while on the m25 so i turned the heating on and went back to normal temp, ime suspecting a thermostat? or could i have a viscos problem?

"today was my first run on the road in my supra" After how long? - did you put fresh petrol in it? When you say strain - does the car hesitate or jerk?

What's your coolant like? Any visible leaks on the rad ad piping?

Check the rad cap. Check to see if there are boiling or hissing sounds from the Rad/Rad cap itself when it's hot
