Bobbeh
My Shell V Power observation of the day.. is that it was only 93p a litre!! and normal unleaded was 86! So for the first time in about 2 years I've filled up and its cost me under £70!
ivan
An article in Evo mag this month said that ALL 97 RON "Super" petrol is supplied across all garages under a mutual agreement. The refineries all chip in and the garages take what they need. The different garage names just add their own mixes to make it their own. Only BP Ultimate, Shell V-Power and Tesco 99 are made specifically. Oh, and the 102 handmade stuff of course. I for one have noticed that my car hates BP Ultimate. So apart from the high price, that's another reason why I'll only use it in an emergency.
Thorin
Just done half a tank of V-Power now, it was almost empty when I filled up with it. I've noticed no difference in performance, and no difference in fuel consumption compared to optimax.

Bobbeh
I filled another one of our cars up today at BP, and Ultimate there was labelled as 97!

Nathman
says 97 ron on the pump in my tescos do we get the left overs in wales There is a Tesco station near me that does both 97 and 99 ron super, bizarrely it is the same price:blink: I have to agree with the Vpower comments though, my NA has been idling beautifully and seems to run a lot smoother since I have been using Vpower. I do use an extra splash of Octane booster as well though:eyebrows: Gives it a noticeable extra kick! Ran out at my local station today though, so had to put 95 in, I will see over the next couple of days how much of a difference there is.
