SUPRALOOPY
they are going to be black, just wondered which paint was best, ie, plasticote, hammerite etc etc would do the job but you've got to know what your doing with that stuff..get the prep done right and use a standard cellulose gloss black. bout £3 from a good motorfactor;)

merckx
Halfords satin black is good, just like the factory finish.
Underworld
I did this a few weeks back. Its really easy, all you gotta do is strip the wiper back to metal. I used a drill and a wire thing on the end. Youve then got to add primer. I used a Black Satin Plasticote spray, whih looks awesome. Great finish, looks brand new. Nic
I just bought new ones They make such a difference looks wise, also the windscreen wiping is better, the spring on the old ones must have been a bit worn.
jaiscossie
did mine the other week, just put all 3 in a bucket of paint stripper then dried them of well and gave them 2 coats of primer and 3 thin coats of humbrol black spray which i always use as find it dries quick and gives a nice finish
DamanC
Sorry to dredge this one up, but how have your repainted arms weatherd?
Homer
Sorry to dredge this one up, but how have your repainted arms weatherd? I repainted mine about 3 years ago. Used Halfords Grey primer and a couple of coats of Satin Black (looks just like stock). They were still pristine when I sold the car a month ago. bmx1lew
i just bought spray paint today to do mine.. bought gloss black, do you think i should take it back and get satin?
Robzki
yeps its a personal preference thing tho tbh, satin is understated, and can look better if the finish/prep wasn't up to scratch. gloss can look a little bit...erm.....glossy Rob
