any of you guys do bulking and cutting cyles? i went from 12.7 stone (12% bf) to 14 stone (16%) on a bulk, and currently cutting down now (13.9 stone - 14.8% bf current).

You recon its worth just aiming for lean gains as i esitmate that after i cut down i would off only gained about 7lbs of lean mass in the 8 month period which seems a bit poo lol.

I would cut down to 8% if I were you, especially as its now summer time soonish.

I havent trianed properly in over a year now, and it sucks so much. Used to be 175lbs at 8%. Now after a year off and eating just junk, im now 170lbs and 16%!

Those two sizes are worlds appart.:(

not realy after the slim toned look, plus i find that when my body fat is between 10 - 14% my natrual hormones are peaking and strength goes up quite nicely. Just questioning the aspect of bulking then cutting or trying to gain lean mass and minising fat? what ya think?

I am after the lean toned look rather than all out muscle :D

10 days to lose 14 lbs is a bit dangerouse aint it? your likely to loose a more muscle to fat ratio with that? I find 0.5 to 1 lbs a week allows u to keep what u got and shrink the waist!

If you were after the muscular look then yes i agree.

I am lucky in the fact that i can lose and gain weight very quickly, i also have good disicpline and eat nothing but protein for those 2 weeks which shifts fat very quickly.

Also upping the cv sessions to 30 minutes a day.

My weight program is also strength based arther than bodybuilding so i don't have much muscle to lose :D

Make your own one mate, most weight gain calorie content is made up of sugars!!

Try this

Pint of milk

1 x Bannana

2 scoops of penut butter

1 cup Ground up oats

1 spoonfull of honey

tea spoon flax seed oil

will this gain serious weight? and how many times a day?

I like N-Large 2! its is high in suger like most weight gainers, so i normaly take it first upon waking and after a workout when my body can deal use it with little chance of fat gain.

i might try your home made one tho mikeyb10supra

I went from a feable 10st 5lbs to 12st 8lbs in just under 4 months. I'm 6ft. I now weigh just under 12st 6lbs.

I can see why you want to put on weight Jazz. I have a very high metabolism.

I did combnation eating throughout the day. Normally got through about 4 bannanas, pork pies, sausage rolls and tuna sandwiches. I had a Mega Mass weight gain shake morning and night without fail. I combined this with a teaspoon of the best creatine money can buy when training 3-4 times a week, cardio and weights.

I did light weights in my uni room every night though.

I've lost some of my bulk now due to work etc, but am looking to pick it up again for the RAF Regiment. My target is another healthy 6lbs on top of what I weigh already. :)

Simple rule to gaining good lean muscle, eat clean. Cut out all junk food(Have a cheat meal once in a while), were all human.

Train hard, and eat 6-8 small meals a day. You will see the pounds pack on you.

You can eat what you want really, all you need to do is burn off more calories than you eat. Simple!
