Alright guys

Been reading this with interest as I have been training hard for 2 years now. First year I wanted to lose fat, and lost over two stone in 12 months. The last 12 months I have been concentrating on muscle gain, with heavy weight work combined with as good a diet as I can eat. Ive heard alot about eating the whites of eggs, but how do you guys prepare them?? I mean 12 egg whites at breakfast is a lot!! Do you drink them in raw form? Boil and eat them? Mix them with a protein shake or something??

Any ideas?

Thanks

Nick

thats crazy mate,

1.the amount of cholesterol(spelling?) you are taking in there is terrible.

2.you will be taking in way too much protein to what your body needs and end up excreting the rest out.

Try just taking a protein shake with a high protein content eg. dorian yates promass,Reflex simply whey or quattro with double servings, you are pretty much guaranteed to get constipation or chronic shits eating that many eggs;)

not being funny mate - but my own personal experience of suppliments is -

creatine = bollox ... most of the "bulk" you get it water retention. unless you take CEE - but thats very contraversial

protein shakes - yes, stick to whey....

glutomin - this stuff is awesome ... your good to train pretty much within 20 hours or so of your last workout - good recovery with this stuff!

as for adding bulk ..... less really is more. i use to do a lot of sets on my arms, chest etc etc.... but use to just lift heavy on legs once a week... and noticed my legs got bigger a lot quicker then any other part of my body.... so... i changed my routine, 2 heavy sets per body part three times a week and by heavy i mean your limit and then some!!! - i've put on a lot of mass on my arms in the last 6 weeks and i now have manboobs - aka pecs :D i think doing a lot of sets on slightly lighter weights is good for definition.. but for solid build- fewer heavier sets are the way to go...

of course - if your diet is crap... then your just wasting your time. unfortunatly, bodybuilding has one rule - you get out what you put in :(

:D It isn't the nicest taste in the world is it, i find it is masked quite well by blackcurrant juice.

I did notice a difference in strength within 1 week, particulalrly in my legs  also i was able to maintain excercise session for longer without so much muscle fatigue.

Perhaps it is due to me getting back in to it after a long break away.

creatine is a proven performance enhancer,it is probably the best legal performance enhacer on the market in the opinion of many experts.

Yes it does cause water retention and can give you the cramp, but it has ATP in it which helps your muscles recover quickly between sets and also gives you more power and energy to do those extra couple of reps.

The stuff cant be that bad as the 1998 Arsenal football team were all given it religeously to take in their championship winning season and it was then banned the year after in europe due to excellent results for many teams.

tip for taking creatine is-buy celltec ,T-charge(supplements that are creatine based with other stuff)or put 1 scoop in a very minimal amount of water swill round with a spoon and just neck it,that way you dont even taste it.Anyway it has no taste ,more like grit.
