I am trying to lose weight and tone up a bit, so for the 1st part going every day or every other day is good right? Well, to be fair I think Dianabol has been used by bodybuilders since about the sixties. Arnie's "breakfast of champions". That sort of shit is only for pushing yourself the final mile, once you've gone as far as you can naturally. Besides, you just retain a load of water and look 'chubby' if you take AAS's and don't work out. I have played with GH though, and that caused mainly lots of water retention and better sleep, certainly not worth the huge amount of money it costs. Lots of healthy stuff mate. Don't forget that loading fat and saturated shit will make a mess of your system. i went to 18/half stone on the weights but I deceided that being so muscle-bound just wasn't good for the heart so I stopped and reduced my mass by 3-stone. I feel a great deal better for it as well. I've heard people talk about short-sharp fizz sessions but you need to put the time in if you want to be a good size. Concentrate on squat, bench press, deadlift etc. The squats are easier to do safely than deadlifts, you'll never get big with skinny legs. Low reps at a heavy weight. Bob Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 Avoid saturated fats in your food where possible - normal fats are a lot easier for your body to break down, whereas the saturates (e.g. junk food) can also raise your cholesterol level. Just stay healthy mate. Avoid steroids - have a look for some of the pictures of Sylvester Stallone after he'd finished Rocky. I remember seeing them years ago; he came off the steroids he'd used tobulk up for the role and had badly deflated, so much so that his chest was almost inverted! Like the guys said, don't overwork your muscles - work on different groups of muscles each visit, working in a cycle til you get back to the first set. Don't forget to have a protein shake after your workout too - this is when the body will be gasping for more protein. Remember, the body first uses protein to repair the muscles, only then (if there's enough) will it use the protein to build. Might be worth getting a personal trainer for a session once a week, someone who is qualified would really be able to help you towards your goals faster. If you're aiming for a good cut then its best to maintain a 40:40:20 protein-carb-fat diet. Protein is essential to build muscle bulk so if you're in a healty state should aim for 1g of protein for ever pound of body weight while bulking.
