Matt H
All, Took my supra for a hard run before (showing off to some freinds ) My TT usually boost to at least 1.2 bar then rises to about 1.3/1.4 at really high speeds. On the way back the boost was up to 0.7 max and the car did seem slower. When i got back to my road i noticed that i was getting the pigeon noise when i let off the gas which i beliveve it turbo stall Someone seuggested checking all the piping for splits cos i had driven it hard but wont be able to do that until tommorrow now as its too dark. Can i have other peoples input as to what they think might have happended. Chris W, if your reading this mate what do you think as u know my engine. Thanks All Matt
Pig
Sounds like a pipe to me. Or could it be the dump valve stuck??

Max Headroom
Reading other threads its either your DV or your BOV thats causing the problem AFAIK
Marco
Been drinking mate Sounds like a pipe has come off somewhere mate. Have a good look round it tomorrow. You wouldn't make any boost when a pipe had come off...
Steve
You wouldn't make any boost when a pipe had come off... I have had one of the VSV pipes come off and i only saw 0.7 bar of boost, so number 2 wasnt coming on. Put the VSV pipe back on and all was fine. wkdtime
Fooked BOV Hence why your getting the turbo stall (Most likely), it may be worth while checking your IACV's.
Matt H
I dont think its the BOV, Chris Wilson put a brand new one on a couple of months ago.
Guru
What BOV? Could it not be tightened enough inside and be letting out boost?

Matt H
: WoooooooHOOOOOOOOO!! Fixed it!!!! Yeah!!!! Came back from work about 7:00 tonight and thought i would take a quick look under the bonnet as i had a bit of time to spare before it went dark. The first thing i noticed was the BOV (standard one) was slightly loose on the inlet side. I tightened it up, turned the engine on and hey preston, when i gave the throttle a rev to make the boost build up, let go and hey presto!!! no pigeons under the hood!!!!!!!!!!!! Took it for a spin and i was never so happy to loose control of the back end (it was wet!) full power again!!!! Thanks to everyone who advised me that the pipes could be loose, and especially those that said the BOV might be f*cked cos it made me look there first!!! Couldnt be more happy. Thought i had done something serious!! but it was as simple as tightening up a hose end hey! mad!!!!!!!! :D
