carl0s
How, and is it possible, to take a measurement of a curve? I don't mean like a graph with coordinates. I want to measure the curve of the Supras rear quarter. I'm taking measurements for the aerial hole. Any ideas? Do you understand what I mean? carl0s
hmm. turns out that area isn't really curved at all! it's just a nice diagonal.
SupraStar 3000
use some string mate. Run the string along the edge and mark the start and finish point on the string then measure it against a straight edge. Just don't use stretchy string! carl0s
I bet the answer would have been something wacky to do with pye and the circumference and width or something anyway.

That'd give the true unbent width of a curved/bent circle, which I don't think is what I was after though..
