Gordon F
I have lost all the gas from my aircon system The guy who tried to re-gas it said that my a/c rad had a hole in it. What is the difference between the a/c rad and the a/c condenser? Does the gas flow through the rad? I just want to be sure that I order the right bit! A/c rad part no. is A8460-14310, £326+vat from Toyota. I am trying to source one from the US, or maybe get my existing one re-cored. Any thoughts or suggestions are very welcome

Ibrar Jabbar
The condensor is refered to as the air-con rad. Has the system been pressure tested for leaks?

Yes, it's leaking from the rad in front of the main radiator. With radiators, condensers and evapourators in the system, I just needed to know that I was loking for the right part Ash, is the a/c compressor cutting in when you press the a/c button? Also, have a look in the sight glass in fron t of the radiator to see if the system is full. If the system needs a re-gas, it normally means that the gas has leaked out somewhere
