mathew
i was on another owners club website the other week and this question came up. many of them said that they wouldnt spend the amount they have like they have on a car again i.e mods etc. obviously some of you on here have spent mega bucks on your pride and joys and others in relation to what they earn may have spent what seem like a small fortune to them. so it brings up the question that is the title of this thread. also what,if anything, do you regret doing to your supe? Ian W
think it's been asked before mate to be honest but what the hell. i spend nowhere near the amount other people have on their cars but at the end of the day, it's only money and if it makes me happy then that's what counts. If i could go back i would have stuck with BPU! that's interesting, I wonder how many people who have gone single would say that also? I kinda wonder if a well set up, reliable BPU with money spent on other things (handling, braking etc) could be better than a single set up? Maybe not, but I bet BPU is better than a half baked single setup

Pabs
well i'm going to leave my modded Leon eventually, and the Supra's next on the list, but will probably be a 2nd car. Main reason for this is so that I can modify it and do what the hell i like to it. As Jamiep said too - I don't smoke, I don't gamble, i don't drink (not t-total but I don't go out on the p*ss or drink much when i do go out) and I don't do drugs. Its one of the only things that keeps me sane really - I love cars. I've spent well over 5.5k on my modifications to my Leon, and I'll happily do it again (but to a better car next time around ) Only thing I won't be doing again is modifiying my daily-driver - too many issues, problems or delays really do mess things up. Clarkey
I'd buy a car that has already been modded. If I could go back in time - I'd do exactly that. I wouldn't want a car that has just been imported tho - a car that's been in the UK for awhile. Just for peace for mind - when it concerns the history of the car. Bobbeh
I regret getting banned, this has limited to an extent what I can do to my car... but tbh I dont care these days.
Clarkey
I'd already have an inkling of the kind of car that I wanted. I'd be choosy - because I wouldn't want to muck around with it. I'd want a car - to simply turn the key and drive.
Pig
do you think the T61 is not a worthwhile upgrade? not at the moment because its not running properly. Im only running 380 rwhp. and have a big lag problem. Im due to up the boost and get it remapped to see if that may help change my mind. saving to do it all properly, so im obviously not THAT dissapointed!
