Viscous fan

I need to replace my fan's Viscous coupling immediately. It's been seized for the last year at least and so, whilest my Rad was out being repaired, I tried to unseize the viscous coupling. Well ... it's moving freely now but it's also making a horrible noise when the engine is started.

I'd like to replace it with an electric fan really but I don't know where I can get one from in the next few days. I was going to get PaulE to import an elec one for me but now I need one straight away.

Unless any of you guys have a better suggestion I'm planning on ordering a new viscous coupling from Toyota tomorrow. Are these the same on the UK spec as the one on my JSpec?

So, any suggestions on a elec fan conversion?

I love my electric fans cause i can change my cam belt with the rad in if i want !!!!

Jake the rad Paul means is the uprated one as in my car , id be very surprised if you can have the tanks reattached to your core or effect a long lasting repair using adhesive , i just feel that its not worth chancing a massive steamy incident on the Q in to Billing !!!!

Sounds fair enough to me - soooo picky!

I thought that yours was knackered and that you did some jerry rigged repairs to it...? Maybe I missed something

You need a combined 2000 cubic whatit's rated fans to match the viscous fans BTW
