RedM
I'm sat at the lights. Front of the queue. Lights go green. I put car into D and take handbrake off. I move forward and nearly get sideswiped by some c**t in an Audi who has decided that red is actually green or that having a f**king Audi TT means he doesn't have to obey the rules of the road. He reacts like I'm at fault so I give him the finger and shout to him to buy a proper car. To compound things I had to swerve a little out of lane to avoid El Stupido so the bloke on my right honks and flashes like I'm trying to cut him up. Idiots. Why can't they just be shot in the face? Thorin
The other week I set off from the lights only to have to brake to avoid hitting some tosser who'd ran the red.... then two others followed him. Tossers. Bus drivers are the worst for it round the city centre, if I'm at the front of the queue I'll set off quickly and beep and flash lights at them to make a big deal out of it. Tossers. Angarak
I fully agree, they should be shot. I was in a taxi with 3 work colleagues in London a couple of years ago. We nearly got wiped out by 2 gumballers jumping a red light blatently late....fucking wankers the lot of em.
RedM
I'm going to get a sign made up. It'll be big enough to be read by everyone in the area but still of a size that can be thrust out of the window in a hurry. It'll say "you are a red light jumping tosser". Bit of public humiliation always works a treat.
Supradoopa
When you said Audi I thought maybe they just mis read the lights or something stupid but you mentioned TT well what can I say all TT drivers i've seen are complete tits who think they own the greatest sports car around! Clarkey
This is exactly why - I wait a couple of seconds before pulling away from the lights. If you have the car in Neutral or Park with the handbrake on ... that easily wastes a couple of seconds prior to pulling away.
Pete
This is exactly why - I wait a couple of seconds before pulling away from the lights. Oh, so you're the irritating bugger that doesn't go when the light turns green!
Clarkey
Oh, so you're the irritating bugger that doesn't go when the light turns green! Yup. I only do it - if I'm at the front of the queue. I'd much rather "inconvience" a few people for "couple" of seconds rather than get T-Boned.
Kranz
In a marked police car pulling out from a set of lights that have just gone green on a roundabout in Worthing. As we pull away a van speeds round the roundabout through a red light and narrowly misses our car, only because I shout at my colleague that he isn't going to stop and she slams on the anchors. The driver is more than apologetic, to say the least. Cost him £60 and 3 points, and it was definately a pleasure!
Clarkey
What would've been the punishment if the van and your car had collided ?
