adi2009
I hit my left rear spats on a huge bump, half of it has come off the car, I think I d like to take it off, do a bit of paint touch ups and glue it back. What glue can I use to stick it back? thanks

Ian W
You need a polyurethane adhesive such as Tiger seal unless they are oem then it is fixed on the edge of the wheelarch and double sided trim tape is used how easy is it to remove spats without damaging the paint underneath? my spats are oem but they weren't always on the car therefore i don't know what they've been fixed on with. SupraJames
I use a silicone bonding adhesive, like bathroom sealant but the black auto bonding stuff. Got mine from Motor World around £8 a tube, great stuff, full waterproof and lasts for ever.

Dunno, it all dpends on what its stuck on with. Polyurethane adhesive would wreck the paintwork underneath. If they have used proper trim tape then there will be no damage at all
