Ian C
So there I am, driving back from the gun club late at night with a couple of friends, it's about 11:30pm, and a badass thunderstorm has been tapdancing all over norfolk since about 6pm. On the Thetford-to-Brandon road I start getting a lot of debris on the road, like when a storm passes through and takes trees apart. Sorta like leaves with bits of branch still attached, loads and loads of them on the road. I start covering the brake with the left foot as I'm expecting (from experience!) to go round a corner and find half a tree sat across the road in front of me. A faint alarm bell starts ringing because I'm still not seeing any larger debris. And then.... a bit of debris hopped across the road in my headlights. Frogs. Every last one of them was frogs. Most of them had been burst by cars, and I'd scored a fair few myself. Literally thousands of them, the density was about 3 per square metre, for about two miles. Then I realised what the funny smell permeating into the cabin was. Frog Juice. It was suprisingly traumatic I didn't dare check the wheel wells etc, I'm just glad I had 40 miles to go in the rain to wash it all off. -Ian

ChrisSZ
LOL At least juiced frog smells better than juiced crab!!! Used to get miles and miles of them on the roads in Central America - so bad they'd clog up the wheel arches - on a Landrover!!!! :)
SupraStar 3000
sure you didn't stray across the channel tunnel and drive through france? I've heard of this phonomenum with fish. I think its to do with mini whirlwinds picking up animals and dropping them off elsewhere.

Scoboblio
Freaky! Didn't see any frogs myself lol, but that thunderstorm last night was crazy! Non-stop thunder and lightning for about an hour, without a breath of wind or a drop of rain (until later on).
