RedM
We've had a torrential downpour and the rain just pissed in through the roof. I've not seen anything like it before. The entire warehouse is under about an inch of water and it's encroaching into the offices. Water was coming up through the drains as well which made things worse. ..and it's starting to smell! michael
Martin, do you sell things like heating elements for dishwashers? Just had some repair chaps round and as the guy was on the phone ordering the part their roof fell in and they got a bit wet. Couldn't believe that rain earlier, it just kept getting worse until I couldn't see out of the window. Now it's all sunshine and blue sky... shame the patio is flooded

Paul
Got into work this morning and our place is flooded too! Down sarf it rained in the night and my firm has what could be called 'damaged fabric' to it's building after the Buncefield blast:d We are due to move next week after 10 months in a shit hole, so much for the HSE!! I don't work for a small company either, it's a big multi-national and we have a union too, Amicus. Not seen the area rep for the union in all the time since the explosion, they take the money off us and then leave us to it when a big thing like this happens. We had hundreds of bricks fall off the facia of the building a week ago right over the reception doors, from about 100 foot up, so lucky that no one was under them. Sorry to rant on but it shows what a load of crap the HSE, Amicus and my company are, none of them could give a shit and ignore all the rules in the book and get away with it.
