Jake
Hey Jimbo What's happening with your single conversion mate? Last I remember it was down at TurboFit and you were having problems. That was weeks ago though. Is it going now? (I may have missed something when on my Hols) Thanks
terribleturner
Ha haaaaaa, well engine was all rebuilt but i had a MAJOR electrical problem that baffled me and variouss others for a few months. Turned out when i bolted the Alternator on i clamped the crankshaft sensor wire to the block which shorted the whole car. Is all singled up now BBBBUUUUTTTTT looks like the injectors i were sold are bigger than 780's and the EManage wont pull them in enough ssssssoooooo im on the verge of the AEM. Then there's still the issue of the gearbox. Im just going to try and break the stock box for now untill i decide on the rebuilt auto or 6 speed conversion. For now im running 11psi and im in love with the sound of the wastegate. What more could anyone ever ask with that sound
Jake
Ah, so it's it's running now! Thank gawd for that. I was beginning to think it would never be back on the road. What a pisser about the crank sensor! I bet you couldn't believe it when you found the problem. Cool though, having a single innit? Gotta love the way they sound. Also, what happened with the r1 after the accident? Was it written off?
terribleturner
It took so long i was a week away from stripping the car to sell for parts and had another car on the verge. Also a big thank god to ABs who came along and corrected a few other bits i had played about with when trying to find the fault that hindered it starting still I can now say i am an expert of the complete auto loom now R6 is sat in my drive still Insurance didn't get back to me so thought i wouldn't claim and repair it later when i have the funds. But think im gonna slap it on Ebay in it's state because i don't think i can bothered doing all the work.

terribleturner
Yeah could do, but no idea price wise. Needs new front wheel, forks, right front indicator. Could possibly do with front break lever and front fairing could do with a tidy. Have a think and tell me what you think you'd like to pay.
