First night at the gym

Good Luck, keep it up dude...

 

Im off back to the gym this week too, I changed gym because too many stairs and nowhere to park.:p

 

Not everyone has the same expectations from going to the gym, for me i just want increased stamina, able to carry more eqpt, lifting with ease, generally tone and firm up more (minor adjustments in my case;) )

 

First few weeks are the hardest always, and coming back from holiday and then going is REALLY hard, also eating the right things, pointless burning off 1000 calories then eating 4 packets of crisps in the pub (4 packets of Crisps equal 1000 calories ha ha)

 

Keep going at it....you are great inspiration!

I find the gym very boring. However, exercise classes are always 90% attended by women, stretching and flexing in their skintight trousers...somehow that makes it all so much more interesting.

 

second that - i don't enjoy the "body combat" classes - but there something funky about letting a chick manhandle you :innocent: and then "hitting" her on the chest :eyebrows: :innocent:

Think it was CJ who told be about the spinning classes and how he likes to be on the bike at the back so he can see the sweat marks in the arse cracks or all the girls :D

If you need any help or advice jamie or anyone for that matter i'm a advance level 3 fitness/ personal trainer that was my job before my engineering position at tvr, need to start going back myself i think althoughhi play footy twice a week and do a few weights at home, also taught spinning classes too:)

Join a bodypump class and stand at the back, it's great fun. Lots of bending over, squatting, and getting on all fours:d

Is it Pilates with all thee leg lifting and things :drool:

 

both body pump and pilates are good classes to go to especially if you go to the back of the class as you get to see all the fit ladies rears :D i didn't do that by the way ;) honest :D
