Guest Stoneboy
Decided life is too short and I need a big Jap sports car. Supra is top of the pops right now as I beleive you can fit a tow bar to them. No its not for a caravan its only for my mountain bike rack. Have had quick look at a couple and there seems huge gap in money for very little difference. ie. £4K can get smart 50 - 60 K miler, where some other places have very similar for £6K. Are some models that much more sought after. An ideal world would get me a non turbo, Targa in silver with as few mods as possible. Manual or auto? Generally I have preferred manuals in the past. Car will be used for my daily 30 mile commute along m/way and country lanes to work as well as weekend jaunts with the missus. Any (car related) advice welcome
miko_supra
auto will be cheaper, as will a standard one. If you want an aerotop it's gnna have to be auto (no manuals made.) but ur gnna have to pay between 500 to 1000 more for one. go and look at a couple of £4k and some £6k ones. some may have bad areas that dont show up in pictures. mike
Whitesupraboy2
With a NA you will find most engines will be standard. It all depends on how much bodywork modifications your wanting to accept. Also remember if you like the stock look you can find most standard parts on here cheap enough. Miko is right for an Aero it will have to be an auto though.
carl0s
You're not meant to tow with a Supra, although Dude is famous for doing so

Ian W
Dunno Says so in the owners manual. weird. you'd think it'd be good for towing actually, if you wanted to of course
Clarkey
The NA owners that I've spoken to - wished they'd gone and bought a TT. So, they end up selling their NA to fund for a TT. If you can afford it - get a TT and save yourself the future hassle. The NA is like having your chips without salt 'n' vinegar.
