He did 3 or 4 runs but that was his quickest and his clutch is fine hes spent a shit load getting it all done.

 

Only on the wind up;) .. i broke three clutches in less than a year in my evo 7 and i broke one gearbox and one transfer box..

That was with only 371bhp... shit car imo... sorry.

Im not a fan of EVO's but i have to say it is stupid quick! Id still take my Supra anyday :p

 

And its 0-60mph.

Sounds familiar. I think that is a general problem with 4wd. You don't get amazing launches for free. With all that grip and power something has to give eventually, and it is usually the clutch/gearbox/transmission :( I'm happier with the supra's bullet proof transmission and LSD/RLTC these days, probably likely to last a lot longer even if it is a few points of a second slower on a 0-60 dash, compared to if it were the same car but with 4wd.

 

I've destroyed clutches and transmission myself doing 'full on' 4wd launches before - gets anoying and expensive after a while...
