After Pete's info about changing backlighting bulbs i thought i would post this that just come through on the US list.

IMHO (but i'm no lord of the pile) this is absolutely gorgeous. It attempts to keep the stock look whilst integrating new features.

The guy had the new text silk screened onto the button tops and they seem to illuminate as good as stock.

Just spotted this thread.

Where did the special BOOST etc buttons come from? They look stock but clearly were never a Toyota designed button.

So he silk screen new letters onto to the stock buttons? How would that be done then?

As for the illumination I have a picture but not uploaded it to my web page so didn't know how else to upload it here.

I can send it to individuals if you like or pop it on my web page shortly.

I'm not sure of the process and what's involved.

This guy has good taste (for an American ) this is a copy of his latest post :-

The buttons were done by Sprewell Racing's car audio division called Auto

Sound Innovations.  Feel free to email me privately for the contact

information.

In addition to the buttons they also installed a "Special Passenger Side Air

Bag Modification" in my car.  The "Special Passenger Side Air Bag

Modification" is hydraulically motorized and looks completely stock when

closed.  See link below for a picture.

They also installed a shift light in place of the air bag warning light (per

a recommendation from Mani).  The air bag warning light graphic was swapped

because it just simply didn't inspire me to shift.  :D

That's an HKS CAMP system.

I had one (plus the TV receiver and monitor) in my old MlkIV and still have the parts but never fitted it.

It's for sale I guess as I'll never use it.

As for the mods I like the hidden gear idea, wolf in sheeps clothing.

That is deeply, deeply cool.  What's cooler than cool gadgets?  Cool gadgets hidden in cool places with a cool motor to whir them all about.  Totally . . . . brilliant

That's *exactly* the kind of thing I'd like in my MkIV (if I ever get one!).
