rovervi
Hi All I have read mixed things about the use of wheel spacers, i would like to know everyones opinion on them or any pros/cons. Cheers Pete
Chris Wilson
Don't even consider them. If you just CANNOT do without them make sure you get TUV approved ones.
merckx
Depends on the thickness you want to use really, thin ones are okay. The loading on the wheel studs will change and the nuts won't go on as far! You still want the hub centic ring to locate properly aswell. gaz1
i had axis wheels and had a 5mm spacer, was always at the back of my mind, never had a prob but would not reccomend them
absz
i had some hub centric 60mm spacers made up for the rears and 35mm on fronts had no problems what so ever. it handled great with no crabing or pulling, checked torque setting on wheel nuts quite regular due to horror stories but they never came loose;) have now fitted the correct wheels on the car . but in my experence they fine as long as its hub centric. ChrisSZ
I have 20mm (rear) and 10mm (front) hubcentric spacers and longer studs - no problems at all so far. Been on for a few months now Got them from SRB (H & R) - top quality stuff
