TRD3000GT
I hav jap rears and need to replace the disks. Wanted some Grooved - Vented. Any ideas on prices. I think Brembo do the stuff I need?
Supraguy
If I ever wanted drilled rotors, I would stick with Brembo. I have read lots of threads about others cracking. Then again, I wouldnt want / need drilled rotors anyway.
Guest Terry S
Chris, try the DBA's. If you look in the traders section at Performa ( user name) the were offering a good discount. I have used them and their service is excellent. I have a set of the discs here but haven't tried them yet. They have a very good reputation though. Scooter
i think the DBA's are only available for the UK brakes? Brembo disks for the Jap brakes are listed on SRB Power Ltd site (see traders section for link)
mawby
Thread hijack! I've just fitted some drilled & grooved front and rear discs, and I'm getting a sort of ticking/clicking coming from the rear wheels. It sounds almost like the noise made by that game show "The Wheel of Fortune", as you can amagine bloody annoying. Should I expect this sort of noise until they bed in properly, or does it sound like something isn't right?
Guest Terry S
Chris, you get what you pay for. For applications look at http://www.dba.com.au
mawby
Thread un-hijack! It was the hand break shoes retaining spring which was catching against the wheel bolts. All fixed now.
