SUPRASUZUKI
I think they're brilliant. I used to crash into every car I could find. Now I avoid crashing into the ones with 'babies on board'. Take 'em down and stop insulting people's inteligence!!
Gazboy
I once heard that they're also used to warn the authorities that there may be a small child in the car in the even of an accident / fire.... as if they wouldn't be trained to look for that already Save your rolling eyes, you are actually on the money- the signs were used for Oz rescue services to look for a baby in the car AND if it had been thrown out of the car in an accident. Gazboy
what if you had an accident but you left the baby with your mother ??? The signs are supposed to be removed if the sprog is not in the car. My antipodean mate told me there was an incident a few years ago when a fireman went back to the car to retrieve the sprog because he saw the sign, car exploded, he was killed but the baby wasn't even in the car.
