boombastictiger
Hi Im sorry for flooding u guys with questions... but im really curious..As it is..the normal NA supra is running at 230 BHP...WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM HP THAT U CAN EXTRACT FROM A NA WITH OUT TURBO/SUPERCHARGING? What mods/ parts could do the trick Thanks
Daston
ok with out a massive wallet you are looking at, Downpipe, intake manifold, double decatt, and new exhaust in turms of power you will be looking at 5-10bhp at the most. I can remember reading somwhere that you can get a 3.4l conversion done but I think it cost a fair bit.
chilli
add NOS lol, the engine is strong so I'm sure a 100 or 150 shot of NoS could be added without too much trouble
boombastictiger
HMM only thing with NOS is that it runs out...I was thinking more on the permant lines....i thought the exhaust and decat would give more power..
Soonto_HAS_soop
You could spend thousands on the NA without Turbos or Superchargers, and you'd get very little benefit compared to that of a small tubby
Whitesupraboy2
Just drop a BMW engine in there, they can get 300 odd brake from a NA.
boombastictiger
u could drop a bmw engine in there or what not, but i just wanna know how much u can squeeze out of a NA engine, i mean they are very powerful and solid so they should be able to handle alot of pressure right? boombastictiger
reason im so curious is because a bm3 can get 340BHP from a NA engine...I know it has newer features etc and good camshaft and its own vvti (novatell or whatever its called) system, but the m3 is an inline 6 like the supra...I just wanna know how much i can get out of an NA, money being no object.. Rob
Pink lady claimed to have got 260BHP through all the above plus new intake and exhaust cams. Pretty expensive for 30odd bhp. Yes I had nurspec exhaust Custome cold air intake Polished head superchipped. Running at 264.5BHp No tell a lie, no cams, it was Mos who had hotter cams fitted. Estimated 10-15 extra horses
Thorin
money being no object.. As much as you want.
JustGav
Money being no object, you could probably get a lot more...but not a realistic statement.... It will COST a lot to get power out of an NA. You could put things like throttle bodies on as well, which will give you a power boost
Thorin
You could put things like throttle bodies on as well, which will give you a power boost Yup I'd like to see a built NA engine with individual throttle bodies... Time to put my lottery numbers on

And the other thing is nobody has got access to the stock maps to change them I believe (Cost being a big factor), if I'm wrong please let me know, as I'd be very curious to the contents of the ECU.
