Could anyone help advise me on a new set of discs and pads to upgrade to on my supra. i currently have stock set up which i find fade alot after heavy braking from high speed. i run black diamond drilled and grooved with yellow stuff on my corolla which are mint, but obviously my supra is alot bigger and alot faster so was wondering wat everyone was using nowadays. any help would b greatly appreciated. Bobbeh
Hehe, funny you should mention this, I am in the same boat, and am currently looking around as we speak. You shouldnt have issues with your UK brakes for normal road driving, do you track your car or just drive on the roads like a nutcase? CJ
This will probably get moved to Supra chat but for what it is worth, I would reccomend the standard OEM UK brake set up with Chris Wilson (a member on here) pads. To my mind that is the best VFM option.
turnerjr
just for the roads, sod track days, seen to many nasty crashes n wouldnt wanna risk it. thought i better start with brakes before going for more power
normore1
Hawk HPS, good bite, less fade than stock and low dust. Not too bad when cold like some more aggressive compounds.
normore1
Whoops, forgot disks. Stock are as good as anything. Don't look as good as driulled or slotted but won't crack and stop excellent.
Bobbeh
Agreed, for infrequent (ie not constant braking sessions like on a track) the OEM disks are superb, mine worked well in Germany. I'm considering uprated pads such as CJ suggests and possibly uprated front disks for track day use.

D3xt3r
On a alot of cars I had great success with: stock discs + Porterfield R4S Pads + Stainless Lines + ATE Super Blue Racing Fluid Inexpensive and bombing setup for hard street and mild track work.
